To build buzz for Unfrosted—Jerry Seinfeld’s offbeat origin story about the Pop-Tart—Netflix asked us to create something as obtuse as a frosted-fruit-filled heatable rectangle that’s the same shape as the box it comes in.

We went full toaster.
Execution
We designed and built a larger-than-life mobile toaster—rigged with a smoke machine, a commercial diffuser that pumped out the unmistakable scent of strawberry, and an interior that was true to the guts of a real toaster (just a whole lot bigger).
Spreading Pop-Tarts and joy across the city, we launched it all at Jimmy Kimmel Live, rolled into the Hollywood Bowl for Jerry’s Netflix Is a Joke set, and made stops in Venice, Mid-City, and the Eastside. Along the way, we handed out more than 10,000 custom-wrapped Pop-Tarts—one flaky, ridiculous treat at a time.
Every detail was crafted for maximum absurdity.
To top it all off, we dropped a Get Ready With Me video featuring Mr. Pop-Tart himself as he prepped for the big premiere—because even breakfast icons need a glam team.
