To bring the film’s epic crash-landing to life, we took over a dilapidated restaurant in West Hollywood that has been closed for years. We transformed the entire property by creating a life-size version of the AI mech suit and staged a full on crash landing across the street from the hero Netflix Marquee. In addition to a custom billboard with a hole burned right in the middle, we hit the mark of destruction by staging roof debris, smoke machines, and making a controlled disaster of all the props we brought to the, otherwise, empty location JLO even turned up to take some photos and post them with her announcement of the film’s release.
